| 建商蓋房砍樹 民慟百年老榕遭截肢

【王中聖／金門報導】金門縣金湖鎮新頭村一棵位於私人土地的3百多歲老榕樹，日前因建商欲興建房屋慘遭「截肢」，一旁另兩棵60年樹木則遭砍除。當日建商工人動手修剪時，縣府林務所人員也在場協助，當地村民痛心村莊的共同記憶回不去了，盼能好好保存或移植，別對老樹趕盡殺絕。
記者今前往現場，60餘歲陳姓村民眾遺憾的說，小時候常在榕樹下玩，沒想到才幾天沒見「榕樹就變得不成樹樣」。陳男透露10幾年前老樹也被修剪過，但當時吊車才剛作業，掛勾就從天而落，嚇壞現場所有人。
