19歲的魯意茲（Ruiz）上周與同夥打劫La Victoria酒店，用槍威嚇櫃台人員打開收銀機，正當他試圖拔掉監控電視的電線，竟發生手槍意外走火，子彈擊中自己的右眼後應聲倒地。
