台東戒治所昨天啟用外役監明德莊、收容人懇親宿舍。所長簡文拱說，明德莊由受刑人參與重建，新的懇親宿舍有2房1廳1衛浴規模，受刑人表現好，可申請懇親，親友會客最多可住宿3天，受刑人甚至還可以申請返家探親。

| 收音機開整天防竊有理 他失眠無奈

台南市黃姓市民表示，收音機從隔壁工廠發出，因牆壁為石棉瓦，晚上很大聲，無法入眠。

工廠內全天候開收音機防竊，算是噪音嗎﹖一審法官認為會影響到安寧，判決要賠償。但二審法官以工廠位在工業區，非住宅區，住工業區就必須忍受比住宅區較高的噪音標準，認定未影響安寧，駁回賠償請求，且不得上訴。
被控噪音擾人的王姓男子表示，兩家的官司已打兩年，希望糾紛到此為止。提出告訴的黃姓男子認為，王全天候開收音機是故意行為，非單純噪音問題，已提起再審。
