| 台電邀國外專家挺核 引反核人士抗議

【王玉樹／台北報導】台電今舉辦「核能與能源安全論壇」，邀請國外核電專家來討論核能必要性議題。上午首先由世界核能協會秘書長萊新（Agneta Rising）以「全球核能發展現況與未來」發表專題演講。她指出，全球每年有300萬人死於空氣污染，認為台灣應先自問是否要承諾防止氣候變遷？沒有任何國家可做到非核，還可滿足電力需求。據世界核能協會最新資料，核電占全球電力供應約15%，而全球核能需求量每年仍以3%的幅度增加。
