| 小說暢銷 虛構綁架app受熱捧

【綜合報導】美國暢銷小說「So Say The Waiters」，內容描述主角受聘於一家軟體開發公司，這家公司研發出一款應用程式稱為「KidnApp」，玩家下載後，可以設計綁架案，玩家可當受害者，設定好作案手法工具和藏匿地點，以及被綁架的時限後，發佈到網路上，其他玩家就能前來解救你。
由於小說大受歡迎，小說作者賈斯汀西羅伊斯(Justin Sirois)，計畫實際開發這款綁架app，雖然目前還只是在構思階段，但西羅伊斯坦承他們擔心開發這樣的犯罪app，恐鼓勵更多人犯罪，或是有人假借這個app之名，進行真正的綁架案。

| 深夜惡火 延燒八戶

【林建鋒／台中報導】今晨零時許，台中市太平區大源26街發生8戶連棟住宅火警，位於巷底的黃家民宅2樓頂樓，突然起火燃燒，由於該巷整排都是老舊的透天厝，頂樓相連，火勢迅速延燒，居民嚇得奪門而出，消防局獲報，立即派遣近百名警義消馳援救災，經一個多小時的灌救，順利將火勢撲滅，所幸無人傷亡，起火原因待查。
