| 英國還有一萬多人看黑白電視

電視台播出彩色電視節目已有48年，但英國官方最新統計顯示，英國現在還有大約1萬1500人看黑白電視。英國黑白電視收視執照目前一年費率為49英鎊 (台幣2412元)，約為彩色電視的三分之一。

| 裝3D列印零件 戰鬥機試飛成功

英國航太系統公司5日宣布，一架裝有3D列印零件的龍捲風戰鬥機，成功完成試飛任務，成為史上第一次。這架戰鬥機座艙的無線電外殼與降落裝置的零件，是在皇家空軍基地列印製造的。此回試飛成功，將更加使3D列印技術在其他製造領域廣泛應用。

貓熊寶寶「圓仔」掀起貓熊熱，目前全世界大貓熊約有1600隻，但台灣黑熊卻僅剩200隻。市立動物園表示，台灣黑熊亞洲黑熊的亞種，是台灣唯一的原生熊科動物，也是特有種，目前根據不同的調查，到底剩多少隻，數量不一，也有研究單位調查野外族群估計不超過500隻。
台灣黑熊在1989年起被公告為瀕臨絕種動物，但外界對台灣黑熊重視程度，卻遠不及大熊貓；不過，園方表示，市立動物園2年多前已與台灣動物園暨水族館協會等團體會員，共同簽署「台灣黑熊復育合作保育宣言」，推動台灣黑熊復育計畫，並未冷落台灣黑熊。
