| 美法都是手下敗將 越南傳奇將領武元甲逝世

【李忠謙／綜合外電報導】據英國廣播公司（BBC）報導，曾在獨立戰爭中擊敗法軍、美越戰爭中擊敗美軍的越南將領武元甲，4日不幸在河內附近的一間軍醫院去世，享壽一○二歲。路透稱武元甲是越南的傳奇，武元甲在越南現代歷史上的地位僅次於越共領袖胡志明。
武元甲參加了1945年起越南獨立戰爭，1953年曾帶領部隊參與著名的奠邊府戰役，最後擊敗裝備顯然更為精良的法國軍隊，共殲敵軍1.6萬人，從此武元甲被稱為「奠邊府之虎」。路透稱其對終結殖民統治與奠定越共統治有功，因此也號稱「紅色拿破崙」。
