| 竹縣後山大雨不斷 撤離七百多人

菲特颱風雖然沒帶來強風，但在新竹縣後山的尖石和五峰地區，還是帶來超大豪雨。新竹縣災害應變中心昨天晚間為止，還是針對土石流紅色警戒區的居民，進行預防性撤離工作，總計尖石和五峰共撤離七百多人，臨時收容所共收容了三百多人。(彭清仁報導)
菲特颱風在新竹縣市的平地，並沒有帶來太大的雨勢，但在新竹縣後山的尖石和五峰地區，則是帶來較大雨勢，尤其尖石鄉兩天累計雨量破五百毫米，而五峰地區兩天累計雨量也都超過三百毫米。而尖石鄉竹60線，在大雨不斷的情況下，共出現兩處的坍方，但在六日晚間都已陸續搶通。由於尖石和五峰不少地區都被列為土石流紅色警戒區，新竹縣災害應變中心，也採取預防性撤離工作，共撤離727人，其中雨量較大的尖石鄉共撤離531人，五峰鄉則撤離196人。而兩鄉也開設臨時收容所，總計收容312人。
