針對馬總統國慶談話，民進黨發言人王閔生說，人民關切的不是總統怎麼說，而是總統如何解決自己製造的憲政危機，是不是為毀憲行為負責。馬總統第6次發表國慶談話，過去他說的，幾乎都沒有實現，；今天他說的還有誰會相信？

對於馬總統重申兩岸不是國與國關係、兩岸同屬中華民族等說法，王閔生說，若馬總統兩岸政策一切作為，只是為馬習會與歷史定位創造條件，或遂行一中目標，把自己的意識形態和利益，凌駕於台灣整體利益之上，民進黨絕對不會接受，一定抗爭到底。

國民黨新增發言人，由黨主席馬英九競選辦公室發言人楊偉中出任，提供關於社運、雲嘉南等地方議題的掌握能力，預計下周一到任。據透露，這次國共論壇也將由楊偉中代表國民黨出席，擔任對外發言任務，這也是國共論壇首次沒有文傳會正副主委參加。
