【林泊志／宜蘭報導】蘇澳籍遠洋延繩釣漁船裕益發168號昨(14)日在蘇澳港外海東南方4.5海里處，船艙突竄出火苗，因該船才從南方澳漁港整補出海，船上載滿20萬公升油料，火勢一發不可收拾，船長劉秋平抱著船上的媽祖神像跳海逃生，其餘17船員也紛紛跳海，經友船搭救撿回一命。

| 烏克蘭發明展 中原大學獲三金二銀

桃園中原大學今年參加「烏克蘭國際發明展」，參展作品，總共拿下３金２銀成績，校方表示，這次參展作品金牌得獎率最高，讓各國參展的人員刮目相看，也瞭解台灣發明的潛力及實力。（李明朝報導）
奪下金牌之一的化學系鄭建業教授的作品「酵素電極與其製造方法」，已獲得美國與台灣專利，作品若應用在個人居家照護，如測血糖，可長期使用，減少花費及符合環保要求。
