【於慶中／綜合外電報導】雖說「女為悅己者容」是人之常情，但女性何時才願意以「真面目」，坦然面對愛侶? 英國一項調查發現，在情侶剛剛墜入愛河的「試探」階段，女性平均要在認識新男友近一個月後，才敢不施脂粉，以「素顏」相見。
這項調查訪問了2000名單身女性，發現女性約會新男友前，會花至少40分鐘從頭到腳悉心打扮，以最佳外貌示人。在約會新男友時，60%會經常補妝，時時保持 「最佳狀態」。1/3受訪者坦承，第一次到男友家中過夜，會趁隔天清晨男友還沒睡醒前，偷偷溜到洗手間補妝，確保對方不會看到自己剛起床的「殘象」。
