【高堂堯／南投報導】有性侵前科的台中霧峰朱姓男子(51歲)，10月1日傍晚騎機車前往草屯鎮某賣場前，看見林姓女子(43歲)騎車購物未拔鑰匙，先將機車牽走藏起，林女購物後找不到車，朱男向前謊稱：「機車被外勞騎走，我載你去找！」林女不疑有他上車，卻被朱男載到市郊；朱男眼見四下無人，疑試圖性侵林女、林女出聲驚叫反抗，朱男惱羞成怒、竟取大鎖重擊林女後腦勺，林女重傷倒地。

【林靜盛／雲林報導】虎尾鎮墾地里今發生死亡車禍，一名林姓阿嬤開車載2孫女(1歲、2歲)出門，西向東行駛虎尾鎮海墘厝路，在雲97線路口，撞擊詹姓女子駕駛轎車左前輪，巨大撞擊力使林女駕駛休旅車車頭嚴重毀損，詹女則衝入對向農田，兩車4人皆受擦、撞傷，其中1歲女童頭頸部受撞擊，呈現瘀青腫脹，送醫前已無生命跡象，經若瑟醫院搶救仍宣告不治。
