【周佩萱╱綜合外電報導】美國紐約羅徹斯特大學醫學中心的研究團隊，近來發表的研究說明，為什麼人類需要睡眠，因為在睡眠時，大腦才能進行清掃工作，將清醒時大腦所產生的有毒物質清理乾淨，這些物質如果持續累積的話，將可能導致阿茲海默症。
