台中市的議員對交通局BRT工程很有意見，卻說不出問題的根源何在，明年度該工程預算編列14億元，比今年多10億元，有議員懷疑數字寫錯了，有議員怕花太多無法回收，更有人擔心會擠壓到公車客運業者的客源；台語有句俗語：「捏怕死、放怕飛」，道盡市議員的矛盾心理。
