| 員林外環道命名 10選項開放票選

【大紀元2013年10月28日訊】（大紀元記者郭益昌台灣彰化報導）員林184公頃市地重劃的外環道路上個月7日正式通車，縣府28日舉辦網路命名票選活動，目前共有10個選項，為了吸引民眾參與公共議題，上網參加票選就有機會抽中液晶電視等大獎。
彰化縣「員林184公頃市地重劃」於9月7日舉辦通車典禮，宣告通車後重劃區內148條道路即正式啟用，而環繞全區的主要道路暫定為「30米外環道」。縣長卓伯源說，這條路串聯了各個公園綠地，完整提供民眾運動與休閒活動一條暢通無阻的路線，但是台灣沒有一條路稱為30米外環道，所以特地舉辦命名票選活動，邀請全民為新完工的大道選個響亮的名字。
目前10個選項為各個相關行政單位的意見，其中多數與地緣相關如環林大道、員林大道、環員大道、環中大道、中央大道等5個，也有3個深具歷史意義如雙景大道、燕霧大道、興賢大道，還有2個蘊涵未來發展意義如龍蟠大道、陽光大道等。
