索尼行動通訊台灣總經理林志遠昨（13）日表示，去年是索尼逆轉勝的一年，市占率及品牌知名度都大幅提升，今年在既有的基礎下，將會有更好的表現。預料將有利供應鏈包括華冠（8101）、聯發科等營運。

林志遠表示，目前索尼在全球已推出12款以上LTE手機，今年在台灣所推出的新機，將以4G LTE為主，同時高、中低階全產品線都有。今年首款在台推出的LTE手機，為日前於美國消費性電子展（CES）展出的Xperia Z1 Compact，將於2月上市，同時今年也會推出700MHz的手機，滿足台灣電信業者的需求。

在智慧穿戴部分，除了智慧手表以外，也將推出Smart Band 。
