環署開放廢五金進口　遭環團批精神錯亂

【洪敏隆／台北報導】地球公民基金會等環保團體今開記者會表示，應為台灣環境把關的環保署「精神錯亂」，將修改《有害事業廢棄物事業認定》把12項於處理／輸出入階段被列為有害事業廢棄物的混合五金廢料，改為一般事業廢棄物，此種引進廢棄物想要救經濟的荒謬作法，將把台灣搞成悲慘世界。

環團指出，廢五金曾造成二仁溪極大汙染，台灣於1993年禁止廢五金進口，「開倒車」的環保署對於這項攸關台灣民眾權益的政策卻是採黑箱作業，只是今年9月在網站上預告，10月2日舉辦公聽會，更只邀請廢棄物相關的商業團體，卻未邀請任何環保團體或讓民眾有充分廣泛的討論，環署並預定年底就會公告實施。

環團表示，廢五金中的有害物質包括汞、鉛、溴化阻燃劑、聚氰乙烯等，燃燒會產生戴奧辛等毒物，長期吸入會致癌或對大腦和神經系統造成極大損害。
