大統油品涉摻假事件擴大，專家建議衛福部追討業者不法利得，衛福部次長許銘能今天表示，依食品衛生管理法可追討不肖業者的不法利得，但須舉證，以及不法利得金額如何計算，將找專業會計、財稅等相關人員討論計算方式。而衛生單位展開油品製造廠大稽查，業者若標榜家傳秘方拒絕稽查，許銘能說，就算家傳秘方的所有添加物都要查驗登記，若不符規定或違法，一樣會遭罰。

大統油品違法添加銅葉綠素、混合棉籽油等油品，食藥署區管中心主任潘志寬表示，根據統計，國內去年到截至今年10 月19日，進口8批共7619公噸粗製棉籽油，其中大統佔39.8%、3034公噸，其餘六成也報驗進口用於食品。
