為吸引更多外國人士到菲律賓旅遊或投資，菲國政府宣布從8月開始，全球超過150個國家的觀光客，可享受入菲30天免簽證待遇，但名單中並未包括台灣與中國大陸。

菲律賓外交部發言人耶南德茲（Raul Hernandez）今天（29）在記者會上說，「從2013年8月1日開始，來自151個國家的公民可享在菲停留30天免簽證的特權，較之前准許的21天免簽證待遇寬鬆」。

耶南德茲表示，這項新措施是為方便外國人士來菲觀光或投資，但他們所持護照必須有至少6個月的效期，從入境的第1天算起。

30天免簽證待遇名單上的國家，除了歐美及其他先進國家，還包括印度、巴貝多、肯亞和索馬利亞等新興或開發中國家。另外，巴西和以色列兩國因與菲律賓另簽有雙邊協定，觀光客可免簽證在菲停留59天。

菲律賓觀光部、外交部和司法部移民局去年上旬組成工作小組，研議放寬簽證待遇名單，曾把台灣和中國大陸列為新增優惠對象；但要求不透露身分的官員表示，菲國多次破獲台灣人來菲從事電信詐騙案，對最後的決定有影響。

至於中國大陸，官員稱，許多中國大陸人來菲後非法居留、不知去向，所以移民局也未給予中國大陸免簽證待遇。

菲律賓觀光產業目前落後於多數東南亞鄰國，觀光部正採取各種積極措施，盼於今年吸引550萬人次的國際觀光客，並於2016年突破1000萬人次。（中央社）
