| 美核災專家訪新北 直指應變區8公里太小

【林媛玲／新北報導】媽媽監督核電廠聯盟邀請榮獲諾貝爾和平獎的美國小兒科醫師Dr .Helen Caldicott(海倫寇迪卡)來台演講，針對國際核安議題進行交流，一行人今天中午拜訪新北市府，由副市長侯友宜代表接見。
海倫寇迪卡曾任美國波士頓兒童醫院、哈佛醫學院任教，她長期研究車諾比及福島核災。她說，輻射會透過細胞基因改變造成畸胎，台灣核能不夠安全，此舉令人十分擔憂，輻射會隨風移動，國外核能廠緊急應變區為40公里，台灣僅設8公里實在太小。
