【大紀元2013年08月16日訊】受強颱風「尤特」影響，廣東茂名局部地區出現百年一遇特大暴雨，8月14日20時許，高州大坡鎮一蓄水站疑因集雨量超負荷潰壩，致下游村莊數座民房被淹，村民2死3失蹤。
據大陸媒體報導，大坡鎮格蒼村委會雲南衝村民吳炳瓊稱，特大暴雨致雲南衝村上游的某電站蓄水站發生潰壩，洪水先衝向下游的雲南衝電站，在電站工作的58歲吳超岳被洪流沖走。
