中研院前院長李遠哲今天到台南善化亞蔬世界蔬菜中心演講「低碳社會的糧食安全」，他全程以英語演講，強調工業與科技發展造成大量碳排放，帶來的溫室效應近來逐漸看到苦果，例如全球各地連年洪水氾濫，這在上世紀難得一見，呼籲世界各國政府與科學家合作，推動節能減碳。

| 塑化劑案求償78億 判賠120萬

前年5月，昱伸、賓漢等公司將塑化劑加入起雲劑中，並販售給統一、百晟等公司，波及許多食品，引發塑毒風暴，消基會去年二月決定出面替消費者提起團體訴訟，受理五百多位消費者，向這些公司求償高達78億的金額；今天新北地院針對此案宣判，最後只有18家公司總共需賠償約一百二十多萬；據了解，是因為法院只針對消費者購買商品損失部分做賠償，而沒有針對之後可能影發健康影響的層面判定賠償金額，才讓判決金額和求償金額相差這麼多。（李書璇報導）
